Customize Website
This chapter will guide you thru customizing your
website. You will learn how to add and edit pages, sections, personal
photo, and company logo. Agent BizzUp provides you all the tools
needed to create your website. We provide website template designs,
a variety of color options, and the option to upload your own
custom graphics and content.
The tools provided thru Agent BizzUp are versatile
enough to suit the needs of an expert web designer, yet at the
same time, easy for anyone to use. With the ability to use custom
HTML codes, the possibilities are endless. HTML META tags are
also editable for each page allowing you to edit page titles,
keywords, and descriptions.

Using
Design Templates
With many professionally designed website templates
to choose from, Agent BizzUp provide you with all the tools needed
to create your website presence. You may view all available templates
on the Website
Design Samples.
Selecting Design Style
Design Style is where you
choose your preferred layout, design and graphics for your website.
Each style comes with a selection of different Design
colors and different Headers that
you can choose from.
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Look
& Feel from the left navigation.This
will take you to the Look & Feel page.

- Choose from the drop down menu
Design style.
The preview will automatically change to display the
selected design.
- Click on Save Design Changes
to update your website.
Changes are effective immediately
so you can view your new design by clicking on View Website.

Selecting Design Color
Design Color has a variety
of color assortments for your preferred taste. Each color option
is uniquely integrated into the page design to allow for custom
hyperlink state colors and page headers and graphics.
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Look
& Feel from the left navigation.This
will take you to the Look & Feel page.
- Select from the drop down menu
Design color.
The preview will automatically change to display the
selected design.
- Click on Save Design Changes
to update your website.
Changes are effective immediately
so you can view your new design by clicking on View Website.

Selecting Website Header
Each template design comes with a variety of headers
to choose from. Each consisting of a unique design, image and
graphics. They are also available in a variety of colors for each
Design color. (Note: your Website
Header will automatically change whenever you choose a different
Design color)
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Header
from the left navigation.
This will take you to the Header Options page.
- Select from the list of header designs.
- Click on
Save and Continue to
update your website.

Adding Your Own Header
The Header Options allows you to upload your own custom
header to your website. This is very ideal if you have a unique
image that you would like your website to be identified by. Therefore,
giving your website that "personal touch" feel. Note
that the template header have a predefined dimension. This will
be noted on the Header page for each template design chosen. Also
certain links (ie. Home and Contact) that are part of the image
would preferably work best if your custom design header have these
buttons in the same location although this is not required.

- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Header
from the left navigation.
This will take you to the Header Options page.
- Click the Upload Header Images tab and click on
Browse.
- Locate your header image from you computer.
- Click Open to select it.
- Click Upload to upload and
save your header image.

Adding New Page
The contents
of your website can be fully customize to suit your business needs.
You are able to add an unlimited amount of pages to your website.
This includes adding Framed Linked pages
(explained below) and Links to other websites.
Adding Web Page
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Add
Page from the left navigation.
This will take you to the Add Page page.
- Select Web Page from the
selections.
- Type in the name for the new page on Page
Name.
- Select the section you want the page to be in the
Section drop down menu.
- Choose No
or Requires Buyer Login in the Requires
Lead Capture selections. Note if you choose
Requires Buyer Login then your website visitors will be required
to fill out a Buyer Lead Capture Form before they can access this
page.
- Choose to make Active
in the Status.
Otherwise your page will not be active on your website.
If your page is Inactive you can still access and link to this
page but it will not be displayed in your website's navigation.
- Click on
Save and Continue.
This will now take you to the Page Editor.
- Enter your content or HTML codes. (See
Page Editor)
- Type in the title for your page Page
Title.
- Type in the description for your page Page
Description.
- Type in the keywords for your page Page
Keyword.
- Click on Continue.

Linking to Another Website
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Add
Page from the left navigation.
This will take you to the Add Page page.
- Select Web Link from the
selections.
- Type in the name for the new page on Page
Name.
- Select the section you want the page to be in the
Section drop down menu.
- Choose No
or Requires Buyer Login in the Requires
Lead Capture selections. Note if you choose
Requires Buyer Login then your website visitors will be required
to fill out a Buyer Lead Capture Form before they can access this
page.
- Click on
Save and Continue.
- Type in URL address in the URL
bar. (to prevent any misspelling error you should pull up
the page that you want to link to in a new browser window. Then
copy the link from this new browser's address bar and paste it
in the URL box)
- Choose an option from the Link
Type drop down menu:
Open in Same Window
(Opens the URL address in the same page when clicked)
Open in New Window
(Opens the URL address in a new browser window)
Open in Framed Window (Opens
URL address in a frame inside your web page)
- Click
on Save and Continue to update your website.

Editing Web Page
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Edit
Pages/Sections in the left navigation
bar. This will take you to the Manage Pages/Sections
page
- Locate the page you want to edit.
- Click on Edit.
This will take you to the Add Page page.
- Make your changes
(See Adding Web Page)
- Click
on Save and Continue to update your website.

Editing Web Section
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Edit
Pages/Sections in the left navigation
bar. This will take you to the Manage Pages/Sections
page
- Locate the section you want to edit.
- Click on Edit.
There you can change Section name
- Click
on Save and Continue to update your website.

Deleting/Deactivating Web Page
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Edit
Pages/Sections in the left navigation
bar. This will take you to the Manage Pages/Sections
page
- Locate the page you want to Delete
or Deactivate.
- Click on Delete or Deactivate.

Deleting/Deactivating Web Section
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Edit
Pages/Sections in the left navigation
bar. This will take you to the Manage Pages/Sections
page
- Locate the section you want to Delete or Deactivate.
- Click on Delete or Deactivate.

Changing the Order of Your Web Pages and Sections
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Edit
Pages/Sections in the left navigation
bar. This will take you to the Manage Pages/Sections
page
- To move a Page or Section to the top position click
on the
Top icon. Or to move a section to a different position just enter
the numerical position in the Order box
(you do not need to enter the numeric position for all other
sections as they will automatically adjust accordingly).
- Click on Update
button at the bottom to update your website.

Adding
New Section
Your website can be divided into sections. Web pages
are then grouped under a section. This allows you to organize
your website content for easy navigation.
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Add Section in
the left navigation bar. This will take you
to the Add Section page
- Type in the name for the new section in the
Section Name bar.
- Choose to make Active
in the Status.
Otherwise your section and all pages within will not
be displayed on your website's navigation.
- Click
on Save and Continue to update your website.

Adding
Personal Photo
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Choose the Personal Photo
link from the left navigation
- On the Personal Photo page
click the Browse button
- Browse your computer for the file your photo is
saved as (it must be in .jpg, .png or .gif file format)
- Select the appropriate file and click on the Open
button
- Your photo will now be added to your website
- Click
on Save and Continue to update your website.

File Type
- Image files must be in a jpg, gif, or png format.
If the file is a .tif or other type you should open it in a photo
editing program (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Photo Editor,
Irfan View, etc.) and save it as .jpg type.
File Size
- "File" size must be less than 2 MB (2000KB).

Adding Logo
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Choose the Company Logo
link from the left navigation
- On the Company Logo page
choose Franchise Logo or to add your own
logo click the Browse button under Custom Logo
- Browse your computer for the file your logo is saved
as (it must be in .jpg, .png or .gif file format)
- Select the appropriate file and click on the Open
button
- Your logo will now be added to your website
- Click
on Save and Continue to update your website.

File Type
- Image files must be in a jpg, gif, or png format.
If the file is a .tif or other type you should open it in a photo
editing program (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Photo Editor,
Irfan View, etc.) and save it as .jpg type.

Image Size
Image size must be 140x140 pixels.
(If size is greater or less than 140x140 pixels, image
will be re-sized. This may also cause a 'white' area around transparent
images.)

Edit Home
Page Content
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Choose the Customize Home Page
link from the left navigation
- On the Customize Home Page
page choose your layout choice from the Layout
drop-down menu. Each Home Page layout have 1 or more set of contents
including Text, Contact Card, Featured Listing (if there are featured
listings available), and Listing Search (searches thru listings
in your account - not Framed IDX listings). Choose the layout
that is most appropriate for your website. For example, if you
are using only IDX Framing Link to display listings on your website
and you do not have any listings uploaded to your account it does
not make sense to select a layout with the Listing Search box.
Another example is if you do not have a personal photo and any
contact information in your contact card it does not make sense
to select a layout with the Contact Card.
- Type in the title you want for
your page in the Title
bar. (Title appears on top panel of web browser, uniquely
distinguishes your page.)
- In the Page Editor type
or copy and paste your text.
- To paste HTML codes, select "view source"
and paste codes onto the Page Editor.

- Click on
Save Home Page Changes to update
your website.

Edit Page
Content
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Edit
Pages/Sections in the left navigation
bar. (This will take you to the Manage Pages/Sections
page)
- Locate the page you want to edit.
- Click on Edit.
(This will take you to the Add Page page.)
- Make your changes, using Page
Editor
- Click
on Save and Continue to update your website.

Edit
Website Footer
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Footer
in the left navigation bar. (This will take you to the
Customize Footer page)
- Edit the content, using Page
Editor
- Click
on Save and Continue to update your website.

MLS/IDX Search Frame
To add MLS/IDX listing to
your web site you must first contact your MLS board to retrieve
your IDX framing link. Or you can send us a request with the name
your MLS Board and Agent ID/Office Code.
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Add MLS/IDX Frame
in the left navigation bar.
- Add the name for your MLS/IDX search page in the
Page Name box.
- Choose the website sections where you want to add
the page in the Section drop-down menu.
- Choose "Requires Buyer Login" or "No"
in the Requires Lead Capture option. Note
if you choose Requires Buyer Login then your website visitors
will be required to fill out a Buyer Lead Capture Form before
they can access this page.
- Click on
Save and Continue
- Add IDX Frame Url address in the IDX
Frame URL box. (supplied by your MLS
board)
- Click
on Save and Continue to update your website.

Page Editor (Windows only)
Page Editor is an intuitive online tool that puts
into your hands the power to fully customize you page design.
You can design your page copy, graphics, background color or image,
HTML tables, and inserted pictures. All in one easy to use web
interface, via your control panel. Think of it as the Word Processor
for your web pages.
With the editor, you are able to type and copy and
paste text or HTML codes. You are also able to upload your own
images. This option greatly enhances you designing capabilities.
We also offer Stock images you can choose from.
Selecting Text, Graphics, and other Objects on
your page
You can select text and graphics by using your mouse
and keyboard. After selecting a Text, Graphic, or other Object
you can apply many different formatting such as Font, Color, Background
Color, Links, and More.
Select text and graphics by using your mouse
and keyboard:
- Any amount of text: Drag over
the text.
- A word: Double-click the word.
- A paragraph: Hold down CTRL, and then click
anywhere in the paragraph.
- A large block of text: Click at the start of
the selection, scroll to the end of the selection, and then hold
down SHIFT and click.
- A graphic: Click the graphic.
- A text box or frame: Move the pointer over
the border of the frame or text box until the pointer becomes
a four-headed arrow, and then click to see the sizing handles
(sizing handle: One of the small circles or squares that appears
at the corners and sides of a selected object. You drag these
handles to change the size of the object.)

Choosing Font
- In the Page Editor select
the Text you would like to edit then choose from the Font
drop-down menu. (Font options are limited
for web browsing)

Choosing Paragraph Style
- In the Page Editor select
the Text you would like to edit then choose from the Style
drop-down menu. (Common CSS styles are already
available)

Adding Table
- In the Page Editor click
on table button to insert table.
- In the Insert Table popup menu, add number of Rows,
Columns, Table Width, Border thickness, Cell Padding and Cell
Spacing.
- Click on
Insert Table.

Adding Image
- In the Page Editor click
on the Add/Upload image button.
- Click on Browse locate the
image on your computer and click Open.
- To add a web link type in the url address in the
Link box.
- Click on
Upload and Insert Image.

Adding Hyperlink
- In the Page Editor click
on the Insert Link button.
- Type in the url address in the URL
box.
- Type in the text to display in the Text
box.
- Choose target; "_self" (opens in the current
browser window) , "_blank" (opens in a new browser window),
"_parent" (opens in the parent browser window), or"_top"
(opens in the top most browser window) in the Target
drop-down menu.
- Click on
Insert Link.

Pasting Custom Html
- In the Page Editor
select View Source.
- Type or paste HTML codes in the window. HTML must
not have comment tags (<!-- comment -->).
- Select View
Source again to preview page.

Meta Tags
Meta tags, descriptions and search keywords allow
you to fully customize the response your website will provide
to search engines. (ie. Yahoo, Google, MSN, ect...)
- Go to the My Website
tab.
- Click on Keywords in the
left navigation bar. (This will take you to
the Keywords page)
- Add your custom title in the Title
box.
- Add your custom description for your services
and products in the Description box.
- Add your custom search terms in the Keywords
box.
- Click on
Save Keywords Changes.
